Stanley “Savon” Jones (32)
Departed July 6, 2008
July of 2008, Edgemoor Gardens was going to suffer tragic events that would bring everyone to their
knees. Our lives and our community were changed forever, by the murder of Stanley “Savon” Jones
Age(32). He was shot in the open space beside his home as he walked his dog in the late evening. Next,
the vicious act of animal cruelty was present, with the burning death of a kitten by some young people
as others looked on in broad daylight. Before we were able to recover, shots rang out again in the
Garden.
